Altered box and Cards | Meher Shaikh

Happy Friday!
How have you been?
Meher here from Meher Creations back with another post today. Playing around with papers and flowers is always a fun thing to do and I'm always up for it. Well, this month we are focusing on the whimsical hues paper pad along with some beautiful punches and other dmc accessories that were launched recently. Everytime I work, I learn. I get to explore things and no doubt I get addicted to the products I like. Creating something is easy but creating the same thing with perfection is really difficult because you have to take care of each and every cut. To make things easier for all craft lovers out there, Dress my craft has launched a couple of punches taking care of all our needs.
I'm not sure if you all have used the punches but I must say they are addictive and you will love working with them. I'm loving them to the core.

Reasons why should you buy Dress my craft punches:
It is easy to use and gives perfect cuts.
It is three in one punch wherein you get three sized tags/three sized banners. You don't really have to invest on three separate punches.
It reduces the cost of buying three punches.
It makes things easier, quicker and perfect.
What more can you expect and what are you waiting for? The list of supplies with links are provided below to make your shopping easy.
Enjoy the post! Happy shopping and have a wonderful weekend.

1. Sliding box: I painted a wooden sliding box using home decor chalk paint and covered the box using dmc papers. I further embellished the lid with mulberry flowers, chipzeb and other dmc accessories.

2. Shabby chic card: I used two shades of papers to create the background of my card and embellished further using the Victorian chipzeb frame and flowers. I stamped a sentiment from one of the Mudra stamps on dmc white vellum sheet and attached it to my card. It is definitely a cherry on the top.

3. Banner: I have already mentioned about the dress my craft punches on how good they are and the reasons why you should buy them. Here's a love banner I created using the beautiful banner punch. I punched a few banners on a pattern paper from whimsical hues collection and embellished using some handmade envelope embellishments. I further added the letters and tied the banner with a twine. The handmade envelope embellishments are creating using Mudra stamps and are available at Crafters corner.

4.  You and me card: To create this card, I have used the motif sheet from Whimsical hues collection. I wanted to create a romantic scene and so I added a couple chipzeb behind the grass and used the remains of banner punched papers to create a texture.

Hope you like it!

Hugs,
Meher
