Today I have this pretty house to share and this looks truly gorgeous and is made on shabby chic lines and yes, it also houses a pretty enchanting garden!

Made with durable quality chipboard, this house is truly magical, this being said, the magic happened all with the pretty Dress My Craft paper collection called Romantic Roses. This paper pack is available in 2 sizes, a 12*12 size which is perfect for scrapbookers (like me) and a 6*6 paper pack which is ideal for people who make cards. Along with the papers, to complete this paper line Dress My Craft also has the Romantic Roses Motif sheet which houses all the coordinating elements to make a complete project. So this is a win-win situation.

Let's check out more closeups of this project.

This is a picture heavy post and I hope that you will love the project more as you check the complete pictures below. This project has my heart!

Lots and lots of small detailing is incorporated in this project.

I totally adored this shot above from the top angle for this really gives a pretty festive vibe to the cottage and makes it very Christmas(y)

Check out the gorgeous flowers which make up this lovely garden a truly enchanting one!

Miniature provence garden

Helloeveryone,

kavitha here today with a new miniature project. With wide range of miniature accessories available at Dress my craft you cannot simply resist making cute stuffs.I decided to make a provence style garden mainly featuring the beautiful wooden door and variety of baskets available. This a picture heavy post,so sit back and enjoy the details as i explain them :)
I created the background wall using brick stencils and stones effect paste and painted it using  acrylic paints.
The door is first given two coat of heavy white gesso and then painted with acrylic paint.I used sandpaper on few places once it dried completely to give slightly distressed look
For the green and sand effect on the base first i painted it with acrylic paints and then added a layer of military rust paste and sprinkled generous amount of "moss green" powder.
For the path way i used few scrap pieces of foam board and art stones in different sizes.
Now comes the fun part of decorating the garden,i used  several mini baskets available at dress my craft. They come in variety of shapes ,size and finish and its so versatile to use in any kind of project.
I used lots of pollens ,fillers and berries to decorate the basket, now how cute they look?
To create some greenery on wall i used green moss, pollen sticks etc and did you notice the super cute and tiny cockatoo bird on the wall?oh my they are so tiny yet look so real
Yes you can sit on the miniature garden bench and enjoy the beautiful evening;)
Ofcourse you need a watering can for your beautiful garden to be alive, right?
The miniature "jug & glasses" can also be used as flower vase ,hehe

Another Cockatoo bird sitting on the the basket, they come in pair.

Did you notice the rectangle planters on either side of the door?its actually the drawers from one of the cabinet that i dint use on my previous project;)
Ah that super long post, thanks if you are still hanging with me:).Hope you like the project and i would love to hear your feedback:)
Happy crafting,
kavi.

Miniature Fairy Garden

Hello creative friends,

how are you all doing?Today i have a miniature project featuring newly launched moss sheet and powder,Miniature dome (soon to be  launched) and new range of glitters.
The new moss sheet is amazing and looks so real.I made a miniature garden scene with Graphic 45 fairies,DMC miniature accessories and glitter powder.  To prepare the base i painted it in brown shades and then glued down the moss sheet.I made some flower baskets using the miniature basket, moss sheet and mulberry flowers. The tree, mushroom house and small mushrooms are made of clay and painted with acrylics. All the fairies are fussy cut and backed with transparent sheet and glued down to the base. I adhered a beautiful 3d fairy flower in the center and kept some ceramic dolls from my collection.
Here is the small dome, aren't they so cute?i glued down moss sheet, arranged my fussy cut elements and its ready.I applied glossy accents with brush randomly and sprinkled generous amount of rainbow glitters and rainbow glitter chunks

I have also sprinkled some green moss powder over the tree and in some random places,it gives a nice soft texture.
The fairy wings are decorated with micro sprakling dust,it adds the perfect  glow to the angels .I just love the variety of glitter DMC offers, each one gives different effect to your projects which you cannot find anywhere else,.

Hope my project inspired you to try the new products, would love to hear your feedback :)
