Baby shower envelopes + Mixed Media panel

Hello Everyone!

I'm sure you must have seen the new released by Dress My Craft, this is one gorgeous release with some uber pattern papers 'Dot and strips' in two sizes 12*12 and 6*6 , catering to the likes of scrapbookers and card makers alike!

Additionally there are some pretty gorgeous additions to the miniatures section, mulberry flowers and a new micro sparkling powder, that adds just the right amount of sparkle and shine to your projects. All the products listed have been listed at the end of this post with the links to the store.

I have two projects to share with you all today. One is more of baby-ish kinds and one is a Mixed Media project. I'm not much of a MM person, but then it never hurts to learn new things!!
Here is a glimpse of what is there in store for you in this post.

Lets start with the projects.

1. Mixed Media Art

This project makes use of the gorgeous Dots and stripes paper pack. I chose the grey stripes from the pack and then started to build my background.
I picked up the DMC newly launched stencil. This layout also has the new DMC Mulberry flowers along with the leaves.
There is also a touch of the new micro sparkling powder inside the clock circle and the quote too, however which failed to get captured in the pics!
This micro sparkling powder is the best to add that gorgeous shimmer touch to your creations!

This MM is inspired by nature and hence the color combination. There is nothing more serene and calming in the world then the endless treasures in nature and that's where the magic happens.
There is also a very very high need to save this magic for our future generations to witness.
Here are some closeup's of the layout!

Mixed Media in itself is quite fascinating and there is only a very thin line to getting a gorgeous piece!  The Good thing about MM is that soemtimes the mistakes happens to result something spectacular. There is no beginning to the MM, but yes, one should know where to stop.

Lets move to the next project.

2. Baby shower envelopes.

The main element in these envelopes is the background made using the DMC stencils. I chose the alphabet stencil keeping in mind that these were the baby shower envelopes to be.
The envelop has been made with the WMRK envelope board and the size is 4*7 inches.
Once the envelop is done, I have used the stencil to make the background and then used the new stamp by Mudra. I'm quite in love with this stamp set.
Added the sentiments and you have a quick shagan envelop done!
Find some closeup's and more shots below.

Did you  spot the micro shimmer on the baby's dress and the stars?? This subtle shimmer is one of the best and a must have to add that sparkle and shine to your work!

I hope you all liked the projects and do share your creations with the new Dress My Craft release!! Be prepared to get dazzled by more and more DT inspirations in the times to come, we have loads to be shared with you all!
