Also added a little detailed tag knob at the bottom to finish the look. Hope you enjoy today's inspiration.

Shuffle The Cards using the My Gentleman Paper collection

Hello Everyone!

I'm Tulika and I have my first project for Dress My Craft!

This project is dedicated to those men who never give up! They fall, struggle and again rise up through thick and thin and keep their families always on height. No matter what difficulties they face or they are going through, they never show it to their dear ones and try to give comfort to them as much as possible. They know the true meaning of life! It's truly said -

"Life is not a matter of holding good cards, but sometimes, playing a poor hand well." – Jack London

In this project I have used these supplies from the store -
# Mini Die Cutting & Embossing Machine ( SKU - DMCT4658 )
# My Gentleman Paperpack ( SKU - DMCP2333 )
# Stitched Star LG Basic Designer Dies ( DMCD3531 )
# Circle Punch 2" ( SKU - DMCT4317 )
# Playing Cards ( SKU - DMCS4086 )

Hope you all liked the project. Don't forget to leave some love for me.

Mixed Media layout with the Hydrangea Paper collection

 Hello Everyone!

My name is Yukie, so honored to be a part of Dress My Craft’s brand ambassador 2021-2022.

I am from Tokyo Japan have been holding scissors for scrapbooking for some years now.

I hope to share all the crafty joy from DMC with you!

Today I would like to share my 12 x12 inches layout using ‘Hydrangea Lawns 12x12 Collection Pack!

Here in Japan, DMC is popular with this collection pack. Hydrangea is one of the most loved flowers here, but unfortunately not so often found in papers. I have longed for a project with hydrangea, too.

So here we go, so much of hydrangea!!!

I have used 4 sheets of paper. Did some cut-out, tearing, pop up, and  Direct to Paper stamp work, spattering white acrylic paint, and some distress work for the cutouts.

Also used some transfer me sheet, transferred to the transparency plastic sheet and made some accent for the layout. Transfer me sheets does a great job of making the project unique and very special.

The cutout pattern is double layered. I pop up double too. So that it makes eye catchy 3D essence!

I thought you might find it interesting to see the layout also with color photos.

I took b&w photo, as I thought it would show the layout more unique and special as the paper colors are rather delicate. But of course the color photo is yet so attractive and lively!

Hmm not easy to decide!

Thank you for staying with me until end.

I hope you liked the project. See you next time!

Altered Love Letters feat. Whispering Love Collection

Hello Dress My Crafters! I'm Brand Ambassador Shannon Helwig joining you today to share my latest project with you!

Please take a moment to make sure you are following me on all of my social media so that you don't miss out on any of my posts:

Today I've altered some paper mâché letters to spell out the word "LOVE" using Dress My Craft's stunning Whispering Love Collection!

I started off by painting my letters gray.  I chose the pink papers from the collection so I'd have a cohesive look.  I traced, cut out, and glued the papers to the letters.  I also used the Daisy Border Punch on each paper to add a little extra interest to my letters.

For each letter, I built up layers of embellishments including clay moulds, pink and gray flowers, elements from the Whispering Love Motif Sheet, and floral images that I fussy cut from the 12x12 and 6x6 Collection Packs.

I also used my Easy Cuts Machine to make some die cuts.  I used the Foliage & Leaves #5, Foliage & Leaves #6, Heart with Swirls, and Tropical Swirls dies.

To compliment my Love theme, I added some Assorted Heart Droplets and Little Hearts to each letter.

As a finishing touch, I glued some Princess Mix Sequins to the flowers.  Sequins always add that special something to any project!!

Thanks so much for taking the time to look at my project.  I truly hope you liked it.  Until next time, Happy Crafting!

xoxo,
Shannon

Valentine's Day Cards feat. Be Mine Collection

Hi Crafty Friends! Brand Ambassador Shannon here wishing you all a Happy Valentine's Day!

Before we get started, I'd appreciate it if you'd follow me on social media:

In the spirit of the day, I've prepared some mixed media Valentine's Day cards for you!

To create my cards, I started with some paper from the Floral Oriental Collection.  This paper is commonly used to make flowers, but I wanted to show you that it has other uses as well!  It's great for mixed media because it is a very sturdy paper and can handle a lot of mediums.  I cut my paper to size and then dipped it in water.  I placed my paper on the Embossing Foam Pad and started making designs with the Large Groove Golf Tool.  I made vertical, horizontal, and diagonal lines on my paper.  The possibilities are endless for the many designs that can be made!

Next I took some sprays and colored my background.  Then I applied some gold paste through the Vintage Hearts stencil.

I tore a sheet of paper from the beautiful Be Mine 6x6 Collection Pack and added half the page to each card.

For my focal point, I used my Easy Cuts Machine and cut out the Classic Doily die and Foliage & Leaves #6 die for each card using the Floral Oriental Collection paper. I wet the pieces and colored them. I also cut out a floral image from the Be Mine Motif Sheet.

I added a few flowers with some thread on top of the doily. Then I added some Flower Pearls in Golden to the center of my flowers.

I absolutely love the new Heart Droplets! I added 2 to each of my cards.  To finish off my cards, I added a sentiment from the Be Mine Motif Sheet.

Thanks so much for taking the time to check out my cards! I hope you have a special day with your valentines!

xoxo,
Shannon
