Scientific Love Layout – Never stop looking up

 Hello everyone…

I am very excited to be sharing my very first creation for Dress My Craft.

For my first project I have created a layout using the stunning Dress My Craft ‘Scientific Love’ Collection of papers and matching motif sheets. The thickness and the quality of these papers is just fabulous, perfect for mixed media applications, although today I have kept my design quite simple.

Lots of layers using papers from the collection & cut out elements from the ‘Scientific Love’ motif sheet. A touch of muslin, satin seam binding for my bow and some Dress My Craft Blue Black Unicorn Beads.

Mixed Media layout with the Hydrangea Paper collection

 Hello Everyone! 

My name is Yukie, so honored to be a part of Dress My Craft’s brand ambassador 2021-2022.

I am from Tokyo Japan have been holding scissors for scrapbooking for some years now.

I hope to share all the crafty joy from DMC with you!

Today I would like to share my 12 x12 inches layout using ‘Hydrangea Lawns 12x12 Collection Pack!

Here in Japan, DMC is popular with this collection pack. Hydrangea is one of the most loved flowers here, but unfortunately not so often found in papers. I have longed for a project with hydrangea, too.

So here we go, so much of hydrangea!!!

I have used 4 sheets of paper. Did some cut-out, tearing, pop up, and  Direct to Paper stamp work, spattering white acrylic paint, and some distress work for the cutouts.

Also used some transfer me sheet, transferred to the transparency plastic sheet and made some accent for the layout. Transfer me sheets does a great job of making the project unique and very special.

The cutout pattern is double layered. I pop up double too. So that it makes eye catchy 3D essence!

I thought you might find it interesting to see the layout also with color photos. 

I took b&w photo, as I thought it would show the layout more unique and special as the paper colors are rather delicate. But of course the color photo is yet so attractive and lively! 

Hmm not easy to decide!

Again, Payal Bhalani here, Valentines day is about to come and here I have gorgeous Mixed Media layout using Dress My Craft Be Mine Paper collection. I used 12 by 12 inch paper pad and motif sheet from the same collection.

Here I used Dress my craft Basic circle dies to create the background. 

Here I used Motif sheet from Be Mine collection kit. I fussy cut all the elements and used as embellishment.

I also used Dress My Craft Heart Border Punch and I used in my layers of layout.

I also used Dress My Craft distress heart Stencil with embossing powder on my layout.

I also used Dress my craft tag punch in the background.

Mixed Media Layout Feat. the Be Mine Collection

I have used the Be Mine paper collection to make this layout and also have a video tutorial on how to make this pretty one. It's quite easy to make a layout, Mixed Media Layout's are fun to make and there is no definite way where to start, but the key lies in when to stop!
The Be Mine paper collection is available in 2 sizes, 12*12 and a 6*6 paper pack and the papers are ideal for making those Valentines themed projects. Let's check the layout.

So let's move to today's post. I've created a Layout in love theme with BE MINE paper collection along with so many beautiful products and tools.

It's a pictorial for you. Here is a step by step procedure...

First I die-cut some circles using Dress My Craft NESTING CIRCLES die set. Papers are from BE MINE paper pad.

Heat embossed hearts using Dress My Craft VINTAGE HEARTS stencil.

Die-cut some doilies using Dress My Craft FLORAL DOILY DIE. Used EASY CUTS die cutting machine for that. Papers are from Dress My Craft OPULENT paper pack.
I've used Dress My Craft ULTIMATE DIE CLEANING TOOL for separating and cleaning my die cut from die.

Die-cut a piece of cardboard using Dress My Craft FLORAL BACKGROUND die. I've used this cardboard piece as chipboard. Heat embossed that and decorated my layout.

Die-cut some leaves using Dress My Craft FOLIAGE & LEAVES #9 DIE in white and black. This pattern paper is from Dress My Craft MY VINTAGE LADY paper pack.

Created some tiny flowers using Dress My Craft CREATE A FLOWER die along with EASY CUTS die cutting machine. For giving shapes used Dress My Craft GROOVE GOLF TOOL small and large sizes along with Dress My Craft EMBOSSING FOAM PAD.

Added Dress My Craft CLEAR WATER DROPLETS 1 to my flowers.
Arranged all the elements together and glued them on my layout.

All the fussy cut elements are from Dress My Craft BE MINE Motif Sheets.

 Added Dress My Craft FLOWER PEARLS and MICRO MINI PEARL BEADS and sprinkled Dress My Craft SPARKLING DUST.
