Wall plank transformation into a clock

For my first inspiration in this term, I decided to turn an old wooden plank into a wall clock. I wanted to make something that would inspire me and put a smile on my face every time I looked at it.

I fell in love with the bright colors of the Iconic Beauty paper collection, and the roses that are a part of it, are just breathtaking.

First I covered the base with a sheet of this gorgeous paper. I also cut some large roses and leaves out of these patterned papers.

 

All the flowers are made out of Soft Floral Oriental Collection paper. For the pale pink flowers, I used Big Ruffled Rose and Ruffled Rose die sets. And the bright pink flowers are made with Six Petal Retro Flower die set. The smaller buds are also made with Ruffled Rose die set. For their calyxes I used Pointed Daisy Flower die set.

For the paper leaves, I used leaf dies from Curved Flower die set.

 

Of course, my project wouldn't be perfect without flower pearls, sequins and glitters :).
