As much as I wanted to try the punches and make my creations, yet, they would be showcased a little later this month and today is the time for the last paper release which was Whimsical Hues paper pack.
I adored the pinks and the green hues in the paper pack and all the lovely bright flowers ! The Whimsical Hues paper pack comes in two sizes, which is a 12*12 and a 6*6 size.

Simple layout using newly launched punches

Hello everyone,

have you seen the newly launches punches by DMC?its simple brilliant and so useful for every project.Today i decided to make a simple   layout showcasing the punches,it was super easy to make the layers for  my composition,it just took few mins and some scrap papers.
Its quiet tricky always when you cut fish tail banners by hand, unless you measure them you dont get perfectly even size on both the sides, but now with the banner punch its just a punch away.
I have also used the tag punch to make some tags to add between the layers and used the corner rounder punch for my photo. Its give 3 different sizes and i have used the smallest 4mm size for my photo which gave a very light rounded effect on the edge, and i love it.

Products used:
Rectangular tag punch
3 in 1 corner punch
Banner punch
Whimisical hues paper pad
Fairy mix sequins
Curved roses

Altered box and Cards | Meher Shaikh

Happy Friday!
How have you been?
Meher here from Meher Creations back with another post today. Playing around with papers and flowers is always a fun thing to do and I'm always up for it. Well, this month we are focusing on the whimsical hues paper pad along with some beautiful punches and other dmc accessories that were launched recently. Everytime I work, I learn. I get to explore things and no doubt I get addicted to the products I like. Creating something is easy but creating the same thing with perfection is really difficult because you have to take care of each and every cut. To make things easier for all craft lovers out there, Dress my craft has launched a couple of punches taking care of all our needs.
I'm not sure if you all have used the punches but I must say they are addictive and you will love working with them. I'm loving them to the core.

Reasons why should you buy Dress my craft punches:
It is easy to use and gives perfect cuts.
It is three in one punch wherein you get three sized tags/three sized banners. You don't really have to invest on three separate punches.
It reduces the cost of buying three punches.
It makes things easier, quicker and perfect.
What more can you expect and what are you waiting for? The list of supplies with links are provided below to make your shopping easy.
Enjoy the post! Happy shopping and have a wonderful weekend.

1. Sliding box: I painted a wooden sliding box using home decor chalk paint and covered the box using dmc papers. I further embellished the lid with mulberry flowers, chipzeb and other dmc accessories.

2. Shabby chic card: I used two shades of papers to create the background of my card and embellished further using the Victorian chipzeb frame and flowers. I stamped a sentiment from one of the Mudra stamps on dmc white vellum sheet and attached it to my card. It is definitely a cherry on the top.

3. Banner: I have already mentioned about the dress my craft punches on how good they are and the reasons why you should buy them. Here's a love banner I created using the beautiful banner punch. I punched a few banners on a pattern paper from whimsical hues collection and embellished using some handmade envelope embellishments. I further added the letters and tied the banner with a twine. The handmade envelope embellishments are creating using Mudra stamps and are available at Crafters corner.

4.  You and me card: To create this card, I have used the motif sheet from Whimsical hues collection. I wanted to create a romantic scene and so I added a couple chipzeb behind the grass and used the remains of banner punched papers to create a texture.

Hope you like it!

Hugs,
Meher

Little shabby dress tag book + Tutorial

Hi Friends

I hope you are having a good weekend already ! This is Shubhra from the other side of the globe and though the summer is almost ending, I am breathing every bit of summer air, going places and wearing dresses. Well reminds me, that's what my theme is for today's inspiration.

I made a pretty tag book in the form of a little dress and with the Whimsical Hues paper pad it sure turned out to be shabby and beautiful ! Here is a sneak peek until I walk you through the creation process.

I could literally get something made to wear for myself that looks exactly like that !!

Coming to how I made these -

Started with chipboard pieces of hand drawn dresses

Next I cut patter papers from Whimsical hues for both sides of the tags

The papers are stuck to the chipboard bases and I began to embellish them

Below I'm sharing each tag and a little how-to process

Now each of the tag has  a small card on the front. Underneath I have some feathers, on the card Ive added some tickets and a flower. The one-liners from motif sheets come in handy when adding sentiments to your projects. The dress frill is decorated with confetti from Dress My Craft. The top of the dress is embellished with sequins ,some pearl strings and a bow.

The card on this one has washi tape underneath and the rest of the arrangement for top and bottom part of dress is the same with confetti and sequins.

The rest of the tags to have pretty much the same arrangement.

The bird cage has been fussy cut from motif sheet

The back side of all tags have a small tuck pocket made with fussy cut elements, for tucking/adding a picture or a note.

Here are a few more detailed shots of the tags

Finally, I added binder rings to the tags and made a pretty charm hanging !

I am simply in love with the charming products from DressMyCraft , you can buy them here at the click of a button

Supplies Used:

Whimsical Hues paper pad
Whimsical Hues motif sheet

Shabby chic envelope cards

Hello Crafty Folks!!!

Are you enjoying out the gorgeous creations by our super talented DT members?? I'm truly loving working with the Dress My Craft's wide range of scrapbooking supplies and totally look forward to my teemies creations and adore them!
The festive season is ringing a bell and I'm so excited to be making all the pretty festive accessories this season. I have a pretty shabby chic envelop cards today to showcase on the blog.

These envelopes are made using the whimsical paper pack which is a lovely paper pack with pink and green hues and comes in to sizes, a 6*6 paper pack and a 12*12 paper pack. The flowers in the paper pack are stunning and are apt for all your floral embellishments this season. Lets checkout the shabby chic envelop cards

This is a picture heavy post and I really couldn't stop taking a lot of pics!!
Stay with me till the end to know how I made these pretty ones, they look a little complex, but trust me, I made them straight in an hours time, the composition is what matters and the right one is just a moment strike away!

this pretty floral envelop can be used well for all your Shagan needs this season and is a exquisite way of letting your creative touch flow !

This pretty one can be well used for baby related function and I'm so in love with this cute teddy!

Catch some more glimpses of the envelopes in the pictures below.

The procedure of making these is very simple.

1. My base envelop measure 5*6 inches (which I made using the envelop punch board) I took a  sheet of 9*9 inches and since I wanted the envelop to be 5*6 inches, I used the measurements on the board to make this. (Score at 4 1/4 and then follow the leads on the board)
2. Gather your embellishments and go crazy with the embellishing part !!
3. Dont forget to add a little splatter of black distress stain to add added interest to the composition and also to add depth.
4. TIP: choose to make layers for your projects, as the layers add depth and gives a very nice layerly look to the whole project.

I hope you liked the envelopes and are tempted enough to try these out.
