Kavitha here today with a beautiful altered frame.I used my favorite "floral symphony" motif sheet and art ingredients like sequins,flower pearls ,sparkle dust etc.Art ingredients adds beautiful finishing touch and texture to mixed media,a huge range of these can be found on "Dress my craft"website.
I also have few step by step picture to show the basic steps of making the frame.
First step is to adhere the frame to the canvas and apply a coat of white gesso. Then mix modelling paste with acrylic color of desired shade and add generous amount of micro sprakling dust to create your own glimmer paste and apply it with stencils
Color the frame using sprays and impasto paints
once you get the desired colors dry it completely and dry brush white gesso over the frame to reveal the details.
Now add layers of flowers,die cuts along with fussy cut flowers from the "Motif sheet".Add foam tape to few flowers to add dimension and elevate it from the frame.
