Doodle, Cut and Emboss | Shrink prink | Meher

Hello guys,
How are you doing?? It's been quite a long since there were no posts on our blog because of the lockdown. I'm sure you all were waiting for some inspirations on Shrink prink frosted sheets and we all are back with a lot of them now.
Well, if you haven't followed me yet here's the link to my social media accounts

Let's move on to know what are shrink prink sheets and how do they work. These sheets come with one side frosted effect and the other side has a glass finish. If you want to create a flower, you can simply doodle it on the frosted side using any permanent inks, crayons or color pencils. Then emboss it using heat tool. The sheet shrinks and becomes thicker in the form of rubber. That is the time you can give shapes however you like within seconds it becomes hard and it looks amazing.

Check some projects I created with Shrink prink sheets.

Mobile dust plugs

I doodled some images using basic color pencils on the frosted side and embossed it using heat tool. As I wanted to create mobie accessories I added some resin on the frosted side to make it look glossy and secure my colors because I had not used permanent inks. This way my charm has got glass effect on both the sides and it looks 3D and natural.

Then I decided to work with some clear stamps. I picked some stamps and stamped them on the frosted side using archival ink and coloured them using the same color pencils. I embossed it using heat tool after fussy cutting the image. Then I added some resin on the frosted side to make my ink permanent. This way my charms looks 3D and glossy on both the sides now.

Flowers

I also wanted to create flowers with these sheets. So I decided to create some soft vellum like flowers with just white color. I doodled some flowers on the frosted side with white color and embossed it on the Dress my craft foam pad after fussy cutting the flowers. I used a ball tool to emboss the center and that gives a narural look to my flowers.
