Winter Village Featuring Christmas Bells Collection

Hello Friends! Shannon here with a winter wonderland project to share with you.  Before we get started, I'd like to wish everyone that celebrates a very Happy Thanksgiving! This is a time to count our blessings and I'm so grateful for being a Brand Ambassador for Dress My Craft! And of course, I'm grateful for all of you too!

If you'd like to follow me on social media, my links are:

Without further ado, here is my winter village featuring the stunning Christmas Bells collection!

I had so much fun making this village! I covered the houses and trees with the Christmas Bells paper. I added snowflake paste on the sides and backs of everything and of course covering the ground!

To make it look more like snow, I also added Micro Sparkling Dust, Rainbow Glitter Chunks, and Flower Pearls in Snow White!

I fussy cut a lot of images from the coordinating Christmas Bells Motif Sheet.  I just love the red doors and the Santa with reindeer, which I added to the rooftop of one of the houses.

I took the new Carnival Candies and glued them to toothpicks that I cut to size and made little lollipops!  I think they are so cute!

I used one of the new Christmas Dies called Christmas Strings.  It is amazing!  You can use the die cut as is or cut out the small images!

I really hope you like my project! Here are a few more photos:

Thanks for your time and happy crafting!
xoxo,
Shannon

It has been a while now since I created an album. And the moment I saw this paper pad, I knew it would be perfect for a scrapbooking album.

Christmas Bells paper collection from Dress My Craft is absolutely stunning and I enjoyed every second I spent making this album. Papers and motifs are rich and vibrant and make every Christmassy project to stand out.

I have also created these gorgeous paper poinsettias with Soft Floral Oriental collection which is a must for every flower maker.

Album is heavily decorated. I used gauze, chipboards, flower pearls, sparkling dust and artificial snow. The supply list for all the Dress My Craft products is at the bottom of this post.

HERE is my previous post, where I created 5 tags with 5 different poinsettias.

Envelope Advent Calendar for Christmas Feat. Christmas Bells Collection | Video Tutorial

Hello there,

This is Ujjwal and today I am sharing a Christmas Advent Calendar, something to count down to Christmas and preserve Christmas photos and memories. This would be a fun way to involve the entire family and get everyone in the Christmas mood. Before I share the details on the project, I just wanted to share my social media handles so you can connect with me if you'd like to. You can easily find me at,

For today's project, I chose to create an envelope advent calendar so it can later be used as a Christmas Mini Album and keep the entire month of Christmas documented with all the fun and memories.

To start with, I created 4 envelopes with papers from the Christmas Bells paper collection using the Dress My Craft Multi-Purpose Scoring Board. I, then, joined them together to make them fold like an accordion.

I used Christmas Dies - Christmas Strings, Christmas Ornaments, and Christmas Greetings to cut my embellishments using glitter foam. I also used the Leaves and Foliage Dies #7 to cut some foliage in green and white glitter foam.

I also cut the Christmas Bells Motif Sheet as they are the perfect coordinating embellishments for any project. Next, I added layers and combined all the prepared embellishments to decorate each envelope. I added some red pearls and White Sunshine Sequins to add more interest.

For the inside, I added 3 pieces of cardstock and numbered them till 24, that is, the Christmas Eve. For the numbers, I cut some circles using the Dress My Craft 1.5" Circle Punch and then used the Grungy Alphabets Stencil with white modeling paste to add the numbers.

I love how this project has so many creative elements and it is useful too. Add an activity for each day like Decorate Christmas Tree, Wrap gifts, etc and then document each day with a photo and journaling. I am sure the whole family will enjoy this fun activity for Christmas.

I used some jute ribbon and velcro to create a jacket for the advent calendar to keep it closed like an album after Christmas.
