Cushion Cover with Fabric Transfer | Handmade Flowers | Video Tutorial

 Hello Crafty Folks,

I'm Manu and I have a home decor creation to share with you today.  I have made a cushion with the Fabric Transfer sheets and a cushion pouch along with some fabric flowers cut using the Dress My Craft dies.

Denim Journal | Fabric transfer

Happy Thursday everyone,
Hope you all are doing great.

Meher this side from Meher Creations. I'm back with an another post on fabric transfer. I have transferred a beautiful image from the DMC transfer sheet on a denim. This is absolutely an amazing thing to create for yourself. Whether you're crafter or a non crafter I would suggest everyone out there to try this fabric transfer at least once. You will be amazed to see the results and I'm sure you will love it to the core. Trust me, It's a kind of relaxing therapy.
You can use these transfer sheets to transfer the images on cushion covers, bags, denim, T-shirt and other materials.

Instructions:

• Take a piece of denim (measure your journal/dairy and cut accordingly. I used this piece of denim from one of my jeans) 
• Cut the piece of image from the transfer sheet and place on the area you wish to transfer.
• Iron it for at least 3-4 minutes and then let it cool for a minute. 
• Peel it off and your transfer is ready.
• Now, take your journal and apply soft gloss gel on it and wrap your journal.
• Sprinkle heavy white gesso and red chalk paint all over the journal. 
• Add Monalisa gold leaf adhesive glue randomly.
• Place monalisa gold leaf on the glue. 
• Dry it and brush off the extra. 
• Add some clear drops in two sizes randomly.
• Cut a strip of denim and tie it with some metal charms to give a finish look.

Happy Tuesday ! It's Anita here with a bright ad beautiful project.
I am super excited to bring to you another fabric transfer project but it is no tote bag, cushion covers or other regular projects. It  is Mixed Media !!!!

Yes !!! You have got it right !!!I have used Fabric Transfer for a mixed media layout and the results are wonderful as you can see.

At first, I was very apprehensive that whether fabric transfer will work on stretch canvas or not or whether it will sustain spray colors etc. But as I proceeded , with each step, I was too happy with my project.

There are a number of designs for fabric transfer at the Dress My craft store and I would really love to see something out of the comfort zone with these transfers.

So here it is ... Loads of pictures with a detailed video tutorial to see how  made this layout.

Fabric Transfer Denim Bag

Hello my crafty angels,

Hope you have been doing great. I am here today with a Fabric Transfer Denim bag. I used the fabulous Fabric transfers and Denim bag from Dress My Craft for this creation, layered with multiple flowers, paper scraps, trims, thread, bits and pieces from my stash. These transfers come in many pretty designs and you can cut them out and create your own composition, as I did and then iron them on your fabrics.

These gorgeous French style fabric transfers can be used to decorate your Cushions, Tote bags, Pillows, Approns, Jackets, Curtains, Bed sheets, Table runners, Placemats, T-shirts, Side mats, Wall hangings and what not! The sky is limit!

Mother's Day Apron + Tutorial

Hi lovely people !

Have you ever wondered that creating something with a fabric that is wearable / usable could take not more than 15 minutes ? ! No, even I couldn't believe it until I actually tried my hands on Image transfer sheets launched by Dress My Craft !!! They are so versatile, come in such beautiful vintage designs and transferring them to a fabric can be done at the snap of finger ! That is absolutely true and the results are outstanding. Of course creativity has no bounds so you can always go ahead and embellish your creation with a lot of other stuff.

Today I am sharing my results with Image transfer on a plain white cotton Apron that I have done for Mother's Day, it has turned out to be such a beautiful piece and an apt gift. Along with a few pictures here I also have a video tutorial , the technique is super easy but watching it will definitely be fun and melt away any fears that you may have.

I started with an apron that was wrinkle-free, so basically you iron your piece of fabric ensuring that once you start with the image transfer process, there are no creases that may hinder sticking.

The vintage print worked so well for my Apron. I am in love with the sequins (and I am saying it for the 100th time on the blog ! ) But look at that... sewing MOM took me forever but isn't it so worthwhile.

Well, the heart inside 'O' was actually my husband's idea, and it became the focal point. I am so thankful to Dress My Craft for bringing some more sunshine with glitters and sequins in our lives ;-)

Look I am already shining in the apron, in case you are wondering, its a gift from my son to myself ! Lol..can't part away with such a pretty Apron now, can I ? ! :P

Some more sequins on a transparency, they look beautiful on transparencies, you should definitely give this a try !
