Hello everyone,
Kavitha here to share my share of inspiration using the amazing Floral "Oriental" and "Exotic"collection.Hope you are enjoying all the amazing projects by out DT's so far.
These papers are heavy weight (280 gsm) which makes it so sturdy and works wonderfully with almost any medium. The super smooth surface and the bright white makes it perfect for card making.
I tried almost all the mediums on both the papers, both really hold the colors and water very well and it doesn't bleed through. So here are some bright n colorful cards i made with different mediums.
I have used alcohol ink for my first card.Though the colors doesn't spread easily and dries fast, but with use of blending solution it worked well and i got the same effect as glossy sheet.
For this card i used Lindys sprays with loads of water, and i repeated the step many times drying them in between to get layers of colors and still i could hardly see any traces of color in the back side of the card stock.
For the final card i tried coloring with zig markers and you can very well see the smooth blending of the colors.Since it holds the water well,i have enough time to blend the colors well. The watercolor background is done with some distress ink and lots of water again!!
So these papers works best with any medium which makes it great for card making, stamping, ink blending, water colors and ofcourse mixed media.Hope you enjoyed my post for today.
See ya all soon.
Happy crafting,
kavi
