Shabby chic wardrobe album feat. Pink Smoke paper collection

Hello and welcome to the Dress My Craft blog, crafty friends!

Jasmina here with you again. For todays post I prepared something special. I have altered a mdf wardrobe album. It contains of stand and six hangers, which have places for photos on both sides.

You can follow me on my channels:

Each hanger is differently decorated. I used gorgeous paper collection Pink Smoke, which is one of my favourites, because I love purple and pink shades of color. I have also adhered a lot of fussy cut elements from Pink Smoke Motif sheets. I used Floral Oriental Collection paper, sprayed with color, for all the inner pockets and photo mats.

The roses are made with Flower #1 Cutting dies set, with the pointed styrofoam bud in the center. And the smaller flowers are made with Six Petal Flower Die Set with white pastel thread pollen in the center. The leave branches are cut with Foliage & Leaves # 6 die set. The separate leaves are cut by hand and shaped with Groove Golf tool.

And of course to add that final touch- a lot of glitters and sequins.

List of all the products I used for this project:

Papers:
Pink Smoke Collection Kit
Floral Oriental Collection

Cutting dies:
Classic Doily Die
Foliage & Leaves # 6
Tropical Swirls Die
Six Petal Flower Die Set
Flower # 1- Flower Making Cutting Dies

Embellishments:

Thank you for your visit and hope you like my project!

Dimensional Cards - Mini tutorial

Hello art enthusiasts!

I hope you are have been enjoying all the gorgeous posts from my fellow DT members. And did you have a chance to go through the new line of miniatures from DMC? If not, here is the link. You will be amazed by their beauty and cuteness!

So, for today's post I have designed two dimensional cards for you using the Oriental cardstock and Hydrangea lawns patterned paper from DMC. I have used fussy cutting, layering, die-cutting techniques and created a fun and easy background with some Jane Davenport journal tape.
Hope you enjoy them.

Card 1:
1. For this, I prepped the black cardstock by adding strips of journal tape from Jane Davenport. It's a easy and smart way to create a background.
2. Then I layered my die-cuts and your second card is ready in less than 10 mins! Isn't is fab?

Card 2:
1. I stamped a julie Nutting doll on some co-ordinating cardstocks and fussy cut it.
2. I layered the cut-outs to add a 3D effect.
3. I added random layering using some die-cuts from the same Hydrangea papers.
Voila you have a classy card ready in a few minutes time!

Happy crafting!
Hugs,
BK

Mini album

Hey everyone,
Hope you're doing great.
You guys must be knowing Dress My Craft has launched super gorgeous hydrangea laws papers in 6 by 6 inches which are really cute and so much fun to use in cards, albums and altered projects. You should also know that these papers are thick and perfect to use especially in your cards and albums because your projects once completed, look sturdy and beautiful.
Well, as soon as I received my package the only thing that came on my mind is to created an album with these papers and I just got started with cutting my chipboards and Cardstocks. I have used a chipboard frame to set my center of the cover and heat embossed it using shabby pink embossing powder. This power has a mixture of golden color that gives a beautiful effect once blended.
The inner pages of my album have some flaps, pockets and evelopes. I picked up some metal charms to make a bunch for the spine and hanged it using a brad.
Below I have attached couple of pictures to show you what exactly I've created using these papers and I just hope you all like it.

Stacked Cake box (Mini Tutorial) using DMC's Hydrangea Lawns Paperpad & Oriental Cardstock

Hello, craft enthusiasts!

How have been? I hope you are having a fabulous creative weekend and did enjoy the brilliant posts of my fellow DT colleagues. This month we are showcasing projects using the gorgeous Hydrangea Lawns Paperpad and Asseccories from DMC.

For my second post of the month, I have created my very favourite Stacked Cake boxes. I have used 3 coordinated papers from the Hydrangea lawns paperpad and one Oriental white cardstock.

Here is a brief of my project:

1. Cut out circles from patterned paper and white cardstock of measurements as in the photo.

2. Once you score the patterned paper strip at 0.75" as mentioned in the above picture, cut the smaller region using a scissor as shown below. These will be used to construct the rim of the round box.

3. Assemble all the layers and adorn it as per your choice. Tadaaaa !!!! your very own double tier cake box is ready.

Happy crafting,
Hugs
