Floral symphony Envelopes

Happy Friday, 

Meher here from Meher Creations. I'm back with another post on envelopes created using the gorgeous Floral symphony paper collection. This collection is very close to my heart and I love it to the moon and back. As you know we have festivals on roll from August we need shagun envelopes a lot in India. We all are very much concerned about the colors while we look forward to buying envelopes. In order to make things easier and prettier I chose the beautiful bundle of floral symphony papers to create the envelopes. I'm so happy to say that these papers are going to go so well with all your envelopes you create for the any festive season. We also have the beautiful dots n strips papers to match with the floral symphony to make it more colorful as per your choice.

Pop up cards with Floral Symphony

Hi Peeps

The newest paper pad from Dress My Craft -Floral Symphony is any crafter's dream come true. Each sheet offers loads of amazing images to fussy cut !! If you are a fussy cut person - then you sure would feel in heaven... ! The papers with images are beautifully co ordinated with other background papers providing a one-in-all package for making scrapbooks, cards, mixed media layouts, altered objects, shadow boxes and more.

The moment I held the paper pad in my hands, I could not think of anything else but to make something that will display the beautiful images in most appropriate way and I instantly decided to build 3D pop up cards !!

So here they are, I have made two of these cards in purple and blue tones that are most dominant in the paper pad.

This girl has swooned everyone across the nation, I'm sure :D . Since the cards inside have a lot of detailing, I decided to keep the covers simpler, adding laces, white roses and tassels from DressMyCraft and adorning the border with golden and silver chains.

Here is the card opened - I have lots of fussy cut elements that are doing all the talking here !

Coming over to my second card-

I have the card front done with a fabric flower, some roses and mini charm flowers.

And here is the pop up - doesn't it look like a hidden wonderful world inside ! : )

Kitchen shadow box card and Dresser

Hi Folks

I am bringing today a shadow box card made on kitchen theme with cute miniatures from Dress My Craft. Shadow box cards are one of my all time favorites as they give all the freedom to play with 3D objects and yet are so easily presentable in the form of a card. ! Know what I mean .. (wink!)

Here is what I made

                  I loved how the miniatures are so well defined and instantly bring any theme to life .

                                                   The flour bag is my absolute fav !

                                    I have another small dresser to share

                           The dress form is sprinkled with micro file glitter from DressMyCraft

          Tassel and heart charm make this a perfect box to store your jewellery and other nic nacs.

Mixed media shadow box

Hello everyone,

as you all know we have a wide range of versatile accessories which can be use for any kind of projects like scrapbooking,card making,mixed media etc.Today i have used some of them like moss powder,acrylic chain,micro beads etc to create a mixed media shadow box.

Procedure :
Stick cheese cloth using gel medium to the box
Wrap the acrylic chain around the anchor
Paint the shadow box and anchor using black gesso
Stick the anchor using heavy body gel to the shadowbox
Add embellishments like shells,chipboard pieces etc
Use various spray in blue and green shades
Dry brush white gesso to bring out the details
Apply gel medium and sprinkle moss powder,micro pearl beads and antique beads to add texture.

Shabby Chic Diorama 3D Baby card

Hello Crafty Folks!!

I'm Manu from A Handfull of Art and I have a super cute shabby chic diorama baby card today to share with you all !! I have used the Charming Baby Girl paper pack to make this cute 3D card.
I'm so in love with this paper pack and it's just the right appropriate paper pack for all the baby girl related projects that you would like to make, be it, a baby album/scrapbooks/cards/baby related gifts or be it anything.

I couldn't stop myself from clicking the pictures so you all would be having a bombardment of  pictures of this cute itty bitty 3D card!
I would also be sharing a few tips and tricks on how to use some products bringing out the best in them and with minimal wastage!

I have embellished it heavily with a lot of embellishments from the Dress My Craft products and totally loved the way it came out, quite shabby and chic !!

The cherry on top was the rainbow glitter chunk which I used graciously on the edges of the card.

Here's a tip!!
1. Close the fan if you are working in a room with the fan turned on. It will just make it easy for the glitter to land up everywhere!
2. Use a tacky tape ! YES, you heard it right, I have used a 6 mm tacky tape on the edges and then peeled it off, Then I applied the rainbow glitter chunk and then  removed the excess by running my finger all over. This also helps the glitter to adhere properly and it removes the excess glitter.
Easy peasy!! no mess with the glue and the best part.. the glitter application turns out to be very very uniform all over. I loved doing it this way!

This diorama 3D card has  4 layers, 1st is the front panel which has a opening, 2nd is the panel on which the flowers are struck onto, 3rd is the layer on which the baby image is pasted and the last is the backing of the card.

Here is a side view and I have used the super cute bubblegum accessories dangling with the pink coloured acrylic chain!

Precious Baby Boy 3D Explosion Box

Hello Crafty Friends !!!!

Be it baby projects, mixed media, fabric transfers or floral projects... We have it all here !!!

So let me show you what is on my table today !!!! Its the cutest adorable baby boy explosion box!!! But i is no ordinary explosion box. It's a 3D Explosion box !!!

A 3D explosion box is one that gives the look of a whole or part of the decor in 3D way. Here I have created a real miniature baby room with all the baby nick nacks and toys!!! And it opens like an explosion box.
Moreover, one can write messages, do some journaling and even put baby photos here.
I have used the newly introduced transparent dome . This can be used to created a miniature show piece or use with any project like have done it here.
I have filled the dome with many DMC products and believe me !!! Its so much fun to do this.
The Precious Baby boy paper stack is the most beautiful one and along with the coordinating sequins and motif sheets, this project was a super fun to make. The results is amazing as you can see!!
