Floral Oriental Paper with Sprays and Oxide Inks

Hello everyone!!!!!

Hope you are all having a great time crafting with  raindrops creating music on your window panes. Well !!!! That's exactly what I am doing !!!

So here I am with new projects and talking about the versatile FLORAL ORIENTAL PAPER.

This is a smooth matt finish 285GSM card stock , acid free and lignin free and a good absorbent of water making its fibres soft enough to mold but strong enough not to tear.
That is why it is ideal for Flower making and Mixed media.

But one question needs to be answered first !!!!

When you are paper crafting , What is the first thing that comes to your mind ????

I'll give you my answer .
When I start with my project, I want my base to be strong and my projects to be sturdy and ever lasting .....So what comes in is Paper Play and for that no other paper is as best as the Floral Oriental Paper----a one  stop solution for all your crafty needs be it die cutting, stamping, distressing, mixed media and creating 3d projects or album making.
So you see there lies the beauty of the Floral Oriental paper....

Ooppssss !!! I forgot Flower Making ..... Its the BEST paper in market for Flower making and once your flowers are made with this paper, I can bet.. You will not look at any other paper.

But today, I will highlight its nature with Sprays and Inks.

Many times you find that the paper, softens, warps or fades away inks and colours...but that is not so with the Floral Oriental Paper. And that too without GESSO!!!
So here are my projects followed by a video tutorial.

So grab some tea......and relax.

I have made two tags and a Distress Oxide ink card.
The tags highlights the use of Sprays and inks along with modelling paste.
The card highlights the texture of embossing on the paper and the super blends of oxide inks.

Here the roses have been made with Floral oriental paper.

Here is the video showing how to create these tags

For this card, swipe a card panel on distress oxide ink, sprayed with water on a craft mat. Dry and pass through an embossing folder in the die cutting machine. Then add colours in the above manner till you are satisfied. Keep drying in between the layers.
See how prominent is the embossing effect on the oriental paper. It is also a wonderful paper for die cutting, giving crisp and hassle free die cutting.
