For you always | Shaker Card Tutorial

Happy Tuesday,
Hope you are doing great.
This is Meher from Meher creations back with another post created using the beautiful for you always paper collection from dress my craft.
I've created a card with a strip shaker concept created using the mini trimmer from dress my craft. I have used a couple of dress my craft dies and fussy cut images from the collection.
I've all the details on how you can create with step by step pictorial.

How to create:
Take a piece of black cardstock measuring 9 1/2 by 5 3/4 and score at 4 3/4 to make your base card.
Make sure you have a thick cardstock with 250gsm or 300gsm.

Next step is to create two shaker panels using the mini trimmer. Trim the paper at every half inch to make this panel and distress it.

Cut a base sheet from the pattern paper measuring 4 5/8 by 5 5/8 and stick it on your card base.

Attach foam tape to the black panel and adhere it on to your card.

Fill the panel with some micro beads and red hearts.

I'm adding some crystal ice cubes to give more interest.

Once you're done with all the filling attach acetate sheet on the black panel and stick your pattern paper panel on it.

I've fussy cut some images from the paper collection to decorate the panel.

Attach this piece at the bottom and the other piece on the top using tacky glue.

I've done some die cutting on black cardstock, gold cardstock and pattern paper to stick on my card.

I layered all the three pieces on top of each other giving a shadow effect and completed my card.

Hope you liked it. Thank you for stopping by.

Regards
Meher Shaikh

Baby boy sling bag album

Happy Thursday!
I hope you're doing great and I'm sure you are enjoying going through our blog post every now and then with beautiful and inspiring projects by fellow artists.
I have a sling bag album to share with you today. I have used the precious baby boy papers to create this album and you will find written instructions below on how to create this album.

This is how the album looks once opened. I have attached magnets on all the flaps in the album.
I have used an image from the baby boy motif sheet to stick st the center.

I have used some beautiful sentiments from the motif sheets again.

These images are from the tag sheet in the 6*6 precious baby boy paper pad

I created the dangler using some bubblegum pastel beads and metal charms.

Instructions:
1. Take a piece of white cardstock measuring 12 inches by 14 inches
2. Score at 4" , 4.5" , 9.5" and 10"
3. Flip your cardstock and score at 2.5" , 3", 8", 8.5" and trim the paper at 11"
4. Cut the 4 corners to make it in a plus (+) shape.
5. Cut pattern papers of respective size and glue them on all the white areas.
6. Cut the tag sheet from 6*6 paper pad and them to make side pockets.
7. Create a dangler using dmc bubblegum accessories and charms.
8. Hang the dangler using a brad.
9. Use some flower, stones, pearls, bling and micro beads to decorate your album.
10. Make the smaller version of this flip book in 4" and stick it inside the album.

Set of beautiful projects using DMC newly launched products

Hello guys,
Hope you are doing great today!
I am back with yet another beautiful post with tons of pictures to share with you. I have created couple of projects using DMC newly launched miniatures, tassels, pom poms and other fashion and bubblegum accessories.

First project: Shadow box
I have created a vintage shadow box highlighting some of my favorite elements from Dress my craft. I painted my shadow box in brown color and added some vintage papers chosen randomly from my stash. I then created some photo mats and attached it to the frame using foam tape. I picked some metal and other embellishments to stick them in every compartment of the frame using hot glue. I tied miniature book with twine and metal key to give a junk journal look to it and attached it in one compartment below. Since I wanted to highlight the DMC miniature clock, I fixed it on the first shelve right in front of the photo mat. I love the outcome of it and I hope you like it too.

Second project: Passport cover
I have created a beautiful dangler on the spine of a baby passport cover using pom pom and tassels from DMC. You can buy the raw materials at www.crafterscorner.in

Third project: Mobile Dust plug hangings
I have created couple of mobile hangings using fashion and bubblegum accessories to highlight the multiple ways to use tassels.
