New born baby Frame | by Meher | Chirping Birds

Hello everyone, This is Meher from Meher Creations. You can follow me on my social media handles

Facebook

I'm back with a new post for this month. You all know Dress my craft has a lot of paper packs on different themes but hardly few people know that Dress my craft has a separate set of pattern papers on different themes under "Me collection". Set of papers in this collection are not in the form of booklet like the regular ones but trust me the designs are super awesome and deserves a lot of attention.

Today I've created a beautiful baby project with Chirping birds paper collection. Some paper packs are just so good that you can create your own theme with the designs that are included in the set. Picking up chirping birds collection to create this baby project was a fair and good decision. The designs are just soothing to eyes and that's what I prefer for a baby project.

I created a 3D frame for a new born baby with all the little details I really hope you like it.

Stationery desk organizer feat. The gentleman | Tutorial

Hello guys,
Meher this side. I hope you are doing great.
Here's a link to my social media accounts where you can find various projects I create.
Today I have a beautiful post to share which I created using the gentleman paper collection. This is quite a nice collection to use while we create any masculine projects. This comes with 12 designs 2 sheets each per design that makes 24 sheets totally. These paper pads are available in 2 different sizes. One is the 6*6 inches for smaller projects and 12*12 inches for bigger projects like layouts, scrapbooks etc. The moment I had these papers in my hand I thought of creating something for my husband and I created a Stationery desk organizer for him which he can probably keep it in his office. I believe in creating something useful so I ended up deciding on a stationery desk organizer and I have a tutorial for you.
Well, I bought a MDF desk organizer and I painted it using sheep skin paint from home decor. I am putting up all the process pictures below for better understanding while I explain you how to create.

  • Paint the base using sheep skin color or any off white paint.
  • Cut 4 pattern papers from the gentleman collection measuring each side.
  • Pick some darker shades of paper and cut them at same measurement.
  • Pick Dress my craft paper trimmer and trim the 4 darker shade papers at 1/4" to create a frame.
  • Distress all the papers n frames
  • Use an acetate sheet and attach behind the frame using a tacky tape.
  • Stick the frames to the base pages now.
  • Pick your motif sheet and fussy cut all the elements.
  • Embellish all the four frames using them.
  • Pick some round cabochons and stick on the clock faces and gear charm fussy cuts.
  • Stick all the 4 pages to the MDF base.
  • Cut 5 more pieces of papers for the inside and glue them to complete the project.
Here are some process pictures:

Here is the final outcome:

I could not click much clear pictures because of the bad weather and rain. But still I really hope you liked the idea of creating a framed stationery desk organizer. Do #dressmycraft while you create your version of this project using dress my craft products.
Thank you so much!

Much Love
Meher

Little miracle name plate | How to create

Hello everyone,
Meher this side from Meher Creations with a new project created using the little miracle paper collection from Dress my craft.

I've created a huge name plate that measures 20 inches. Let me take you through the process on how I created.

I painted the base using home decor chalk paint and attached a couple of pattern papers from little miracle collection trimming them in different sizes using tacky glue. I have done some gold stenciling using my favourite stencil from Dress my craft and varnished the whole name plate. I picked some mulberry flowers and attached them on two sides of the name plate. In order to add some extra flavour I ended up sprinkling some Dress my craft sparkling dust on all the flowers.
I picked the alphabets and coated them with white gesso and then colored them in my most favorite color using Prima chalk edgers. I pretty much liked the combination. I proceeded further giving some extra touch up for the letters and varnished them. Finally I added some butterflies, clear droplets and other embellishments to complete the name plate. I had a beautiful pink shabby chic lace which I ended up attaching all over the border of the name plate.

Have a look on how it turned out!!

For you always | Shaker Card Tutorial

Happy Tuesday,
Hope you are doing great.
This is Meher from Meher creations back with another post created using the beautiful for you always paper collection from dress my craft.
I've created a card with a strip shaker concept created using the mini trimmer from dress my craft. I have used a couple of dress my craft dies and fussy cut images from the collection.
I've all the details on how you can create with step by step pictorial.

How to create:
Take a piece of black cardstock measuring 9 1/2 by 5 3/4 and score at 4 3/4 to make your base card.
Make sure you have a thick cardstock with 250gsm or 300gsm.

Next step is to create two shaker panels using the mini trimmer. Trim the paper at every half inch to make this panel and distress it.

Cut a base sheet from the pattern paper measuring 4 5/8 by 5 5/8 and stick it on your card base.

Attach foam tape to the black panel and adhere it on to your card.

Fill the panel with some micro beads and red hearts.

I'm adding some crystal ice cubes to give more interest.

Once you're done with all the filling attach acetate sheet on the black panel and stick your pattern paper panel on it.

I've fussy cut some images from the paper collection to decorate the panel.

Attach this piece at the bottom and the other piece on the top using tacky glue.

I've done some die cutting on black cardstock, gold cardstock and pattern paper to stick on my card.

I layered all the three pieces on top of each other giving a shadow effect and completed my card.

Hope you liked it. Thank you for stopping by.

Regards
Meher Shaikh
