Superhero Mini Album

Hey crafty people!!! Today is bittersweet as it is my last post as a Brand Ambassador for Dress My Craft.  I have had so much fun creating and crafting with the amazing products that Dress My Craft offers.  I can't believe it's been over a year since I started with the Design Team.  It has been an honor!

For my last post, I have a video tutorial of this amazing Super Hero Mini Album!  The inside of the album is created using just 1 piece of 12"x12" card stock.  There are so many tutorials out there for mini albums!  I found a few ideas from these tutorials and then made it my own! KAvitha here today sharing a very soft and pretty explosion box using "Pink smoke" collection.This collection is so gorgeous and romantic with most beautiful pink and purple shades .

Pink is my favorite color and i absolutely loved working on this project.I embellished the box and lid with lots of beautiful flowers and other elements from the "Motif sheet"

In the center there is a tiny box for some gifts or treats,isn't it adorable?all made with the help of Dress my craft trimmer and scoreboard.

Little Miracle baby photo book ---First Year

Hello friends,

This is Anita here with a new post for you today !!!

Babies are a delight and one can never get tired of them. The moments you spend with them are so relaxing and joyful that you want to cherish them forever. So how about capturing those joyous moments of your little one in the form of a photo book.
In this book , you can record all the milestones of your little ones and cherish those moments forever.
Photo book is a quick and easy to store photos and are so versatile that you can change pictures, create journals and add so much more.
These can be made by any level of  Crafter , even beginners and require not much skill.

The Dress My Craft products even make the task easy as the wonderful papers are so sturdy that they are perfect to make such projects and that too without any card stock .
The punches and the paper tools help you to get perfect results each time .
So let us make these photo folios or photo books and treasure the memories of your little baby or gift them away .

For my project , I am using the Little Miracle paper pack along with the die cuts . Yes !!! You got it  right !!! This paper pack comes with pre cut motifs and that saves your time from fussy cutting . And the way  I have designed it, there is very little wastage of paper. In fact you can make two such books from one 12x12 paper pack . Add fancy borders using the beautiful lace punches or add tags using the tag punches, these tools are really time saviours

So make a collection of such books for every month. I have created one which holds memories and photos for 12 months . So we have a page for each month with space for writing special notes for that month .

So let me show you how this book looks like .

Here is the photo tutorial for making the album .

Gather  all the materials for making the album .

 Cut 12 pieces for pattern paper --5.5" x 5.5"
6 pieces ---11.75" x 5.75

Cut chip board 6" x 6" -2 pieces and 3" x  6"
And assemble like this using masking tape.

Score the bigger piece at 5 3/4 inch and 6inch .

In My Heart Mini Album

Hello Friends,

This is Anita here . I hope you all are having lot of fun crafting and exploring new creative techniques. I would really like you all to visit the Dress My Craft Store to see the amazing range of products that are just perfect for card making, scrap booking and flower making. I especially love the new paper packs and have created a variety of projects with them. The love themed paper packs are just a treat for the eyes and one cannot have enough of them.

Today, I have a project that I have made with lot of hard work. The 6 x 6 Love themed Mini Album. This is a super easy mini album and looks great with the new papers and the acetate pages. These see through pages add lot of depth and beauty to the album and gives a break from the more usual kind of albums that we make.

A little note about the In My Heart paper----These papers are beautifully designed and are so versatile that one can use them for any purpose. The designs are both shabby chic and vintage and have floral prints that look so dainty and delicate. The pastel coloured roses against the pink and black background really bring out the sheer beauty of these papers. This collection has 12 x12,  6 x6 and a coordinating motif sheets that are great for making embellishments. These 270 gsm thick papers are smooth t tough with excellent quality.

Now on to my album.
This is a perfect album for special occasions and can be given to both male and female. It can hold more than 50 photos and have lot of space for journaling. The tag punch and the new border lace punch makes decorating the album and easy task. I have used acetate sheets for some pages and once  you see the album , you will know the difference.
