Cards with Romantic roses collection

This paper pad has so many possibilities of  color combination,i went for pink/grey and green/grey combination with hints of red which i feel makes the card pop.

I love adding lots of layers and details to my cards and the element sheets helps a lot to do that.

Mixed Media Layout with Romantic Roses Paper Collection

Hello Everyone, 

Again, Payal Bhalani here with a gorgeous Mixed media Layout, which is decorated with lovely Paper "Romantic Roses"

I created this Mixed media Layout project using "Romantic Roses Paper Pad". Dress My craft has amazing paper collection so we don't need to work so much on it. It is gorgeous by itself. i also used Motif sheet from same collection.

I fussy cut gorgeous elements from Motif sheet and I used as embellishments.

 

I used Dress My craft Vintage Heart stencil with embossing powder to create background on my layout.

Dress My Craft Foliage and leaves dies are my most Favorite as I used them to create background of my focal point. I also used Tropical Swirls Dies to give some dimension.

Altered Frame featuring Romantic Roses Collection

First of all I'd like to say that as I was working on my project, it was turning out very Pink! This reminded me that October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and so I chose to make my project an inspirational one.  Early detection saves lives.  So remind your loved ones to get screened and maybe someday we can put an end to Breast Cancer!

I chose to work with the Romantic Roses Collection this time, and it is a beautiful set! If you don't already have it, you MUST get it!! I covered my laser cut wood frame with white gesso and then used some paste through the Vintage Hearts Stencil. Next I added some rose colored paint and then toned down the color by dry brushing some white gesso again.

Then I glued one of the gorgeous papers from the Romantic Roses 12x12 paper pad to the back of my frame.  I added a resin frame and resin teacups to the corner of my frame and colored them in the same fashion as the frame.  I also added some flowers, foliage & leaves #5 die cuts, 5 mm Pointed Styrofoam Buds,  script chipboard and fussy cut an image from the matching motif sheets.

As a special touch, I used the Floral Sentiments - Wish & Hope die to cut out the word Hope to match my theme of Breast Cancer Awareness.

Finally, I used some soft matte gel and added some White Sunshine Sequins to my flowers.

Shaker Cards And Tags With Various Papers & Sequins

So let's move to today's post. I've created few Shaker Cards and tags using Dress My Craft Romantic Roses, Pink Smoke and Hydrangea Lawns paper packs along with beautiful Flower beads and sequins.

Let's move to my next crafty project... A Pair Of Vintage Tags

• Used Dress My Craft Romantic Roses paper pack and it's coordinated motif sheets. 
• Stamped some butterflies on pattern paper from the same pack and fussy cut them.
• This tiny cute cork jar is from my stash and filled it with cute and charming Dress My Craft Little Hearts and Snow White flower pearls.
• Used Dress My Craft Classic Doily and Foliage & Leaves #2 dies.
• Cut some tags using Dress My Craft Rectangular Tag Punch.
• Adhered all the elements together and added Dress My Craft Pink Pastel Sequins and sprinkled  Dress My Craft  Micro Sparkling Dust for finishing the look.

I've also used  Dress My Craft  Multipurpose Score Board, Paper Trimmer and Teflon Bone Folders set for creating my cards and tags.
