Stationery desk organizer feat. The gentleman | Tutorial

Hello guys,
Meher this side. I hope you are doing great.
Here's a link to my social media accounts where you can find various projects I create.
Today I have a beautiful post to share which I created using the gentleman paper collection. This is quite a nice collection to use while we create any masculine projects. This comes with 12 designs 2 sheets each per design that makes 24 sheets totally. These paper pads are available in 2 different sizes. One is the 6*6 inches for smaller projects and 12*12 inches for bigger projects like layouts, scrapbooks etc. The moment I had these papers in my hand I thought of creating something for my husband and I created a Stationery desk organizer for him which he can probably keep it in his office. I believe in creating something useful so I ended up deciding on a stationery desk organizer and I have a tutorial for you.
Well, I bought a MDF desk organizer and I painted it using sheep skin paint from home decor. I am putting up all the process pictures below for better understanding while I explain you how to create.

  • Paint the base using sheep skin color or any off white paint.
  • Cut 4 pattern papers from the gentleman collection measuring each side.
  • Pick some darker shades of paper and cut them at same measurement.
  • Pick Dress my craft paper trimmer and trim the 4 darker shade papers at 1/4" to create a frame.
  • Distress all the papers n frames
  • Use an acetate sheet and attach behind the frame using a tacky tape.
  • Stick the frames to the base pages now.
  • Pick your motif sheet and fussy cut all the elements.
  • Embellish all the four frames using them.
  • Pick some round cabochons and stick on the clock faces and gear charm fussy cuts.
  • Stick all the 4 pages to the MDF base.
  • Cut 5 more pieces of papers for the inside and glue them to complete the project.
Here are some process pictures:

Here is the final outcome:

I could not click much clear pictures because of the bad weather and rain. But still I really hope you liked the idea of creating a framed stationery desk organizer. Do #dressmycraft while you create your version of this project using dress my craft products.
Thank you so much!

Much Love
Meher
