Ornate cards with flowers

Hello

Welcome back to another creative post . This is Anita here and I have brought some amazing card designs made with Vintage Saga paper pack . Combined with the floral die cut flowers and motif sheets , one can create a wide range of projects .

I have four cards today that beautifully highlight this paper . I have also used handmade flowers on my cards as I am very passionate about flower making .

Have a look at these cards .

This card highlights just a little bit of the shabby chic papers but more on the flowers made from the floral dies using floral Oriental paper and the couple die . I have used glitter on the die cut to highlight it . See the  embossed background with the lace doily die that compliment the other elements on the cards so we'll

Closer look of the card

This card has so many things that blend with each other . The vellum belly band with a quote and the torn strips of Vintage Saga paper gives a shabby chic look to the card. I have used mulberry roses along with die cuts and motifs to make my card .

This is a twisted easel card and has many layers and dimensions .This card highlights the beauty of the paper so well.

This card brings out the beautiful design of the papers and has lots of layers along with tag punch cut outs .

Creative ways with Foliage dies and New Paper craft tools

Hello to all

This is Anita here with a new post using the wonderful paper craft tools launched recently. These tools are a must have things for all crafters and they make your work very easy and add perfection to it.
This is the Multi purpose 12 x 12 scoring board and the teflon bone folders.
I have been looking out for something extra in my scoring board and I am so happy that this Scoring board from Dress My craft solves all my problems relating to measurements.
The perfectly designed board, has deep grooves and measurements printed in black to make reading easy. And the best part is now no racking your brains in fifhs and 6 sevenths... They part markings are easily understood as they have 1/2, 1/4 nd 3/4 markings now. That makes things so much easier.
And now, this tool does more than scoring. It is just perfect for making any size envelopes and boxes.

Here is a comprehensive video featuring the Scoring board.

Teamed with this comes the teflon bone folders. These are so light and handy, that soon this will take the most important position on your craft table. The bone folders are smooth and have a good grip . They score well and are excellent for burnishing without leaving any shining mark on the card stock. The ergo Bone folder is my favourite and once you use it, it will be yous too.

Using these two tools, I have used the Foliage dies to create money wraps that are really fun to make. The scoring board and the bone folders make my envelopes scored, folded and burnished very well.

Follow the step by step tutorial to make the. I have created three designs but te basic method remains same.

Photo Tutorial
---------------------------------------------------------------------------

Cut the Dots and Stripes paper to size 10 inches by 8.5 inches. On the score board use the pencil bone folder to score at 1/2 inch and 8 inch on the shorter side. Turn the paper clock wise and score at 3 inches and 7 inches on the longer side.

Add a piece of patern paper inside the envelope . Adhere the frame on the front
Add clear water droplets and glitter.
Make similar designs like this .

You can make another wonderful project using the bone folder and the scoring board in this blog post here.

Basic Envelope Making and elegant money wraps

Hello friends

This is Anita here with loads of new techniques for you. I love playing around with new tools and keep finding something more than that product can offer .
So here I am with the new dies from Dress My Craft . The month of January saw many new releases in dies and all of them are wonderful that they will make all Crafters happy whether card makers or scrapbookers .
I am especially fond of making money wraps and keep trying new designs .
Today , I am going to use the foliage dies to make some elegantly different money envelopes.
They are super fast and easy to make and look fabulous .
You will be surprised to see the final outcome .
You can see the foliage dies here .

See the video tutorial to make the basic envelope.

Here is a money wrap with photo tutorial.

Cut the die cuts in water colour paper from foliage dies #1

Using distress re inkers colour the die cuts. You can use any water colour medium.

Cut a mat layer a little smaller than the envelope base in white card stock. Distress with Fired Brick, Fossilized Amber, Festive Berries and Dried Marigold distress ink. Cut out two negative die cut space using the dies as shown above .

Distress the portion of envelope where the negative space will show with Festive Berries ink.

Apply glue on the back side of the mat layer

Adhere the mat layer on the envelope. Stick the coloured die cuts . Sorry some water . Add water droplets .
See similar designs made in the same way .

So now it's your turn to use the scoring board and make your own designed envelope.
Don't you think these envelopes are different and a fresh break from the usual floral types??

Let me know which combination you like the best .
