Floral jeweled accessories | Dress My Craft Dies

Hello Crafty Folks,

I have another inspirational post today using the new Dress My Craft Dies. I'm sure you all must have seen the dies and have already booked your's for they are super pocket friendly and comes in varied designs options, giving clean and neat cuts and the best part is that; there is so much to choose from and the quality is the best one!

The moment I got the dies, I had numerous project ideas and I do plan to incorporate them one at a time, so I have lots planned and here is the first one I loved doing and was on my bucket list from a long long time.
I have made some Floral Accessories and these are not limited to be used as hair accessories, but can be used widely as I have done in my projects below.

I have used the ruffled rose die to make my flowers.

Lets have a look at the flower cluster that I made and then look at the varied places I have used the same one

I went and made my flowers into a cabbage rose shape and decided to make a floral accessory cluster that can be used in a wide variety of ways!! I also used the golden chains from Dress My Craft as the binding element for these!

Along with the floral accessory cluster I also made a few hair pins and they came out super nice and exactly the way I thought they would. We, women love dressing and these floral pins makes for a super elegant piece of jewellery!

Now comes my second thought and I used the floral cluster on a candle, so this makes the candle super elegant and a perfect gift to gift this festive season!!

Doens't this candle makes for a perfect gifting solution this festive season? do try one out !!

The next idea to use the floral cluster was as a Corsage?? a bracelet?? why now?? This woul surely make for a awesome one and surely out of the box and would look so classy!!
So here's the floral Corsage!!

Well, the possibilities are endless and these dies from Dress My Craft are to die for!! These dies are so versatile and can make superb projects in a jiffy!! Well, my next post would be surely about experimenting these with other mediums apart from the Floral Oriental paper from Dress My Craft that I used to make these flowers for!!

I hope you liked the projects and would love to give these dies a try for sure!

Shabby chic cards (Mixed Media)

Hello wonderful people,

Hope you are enjoying your holidays! I'm back with a bit of mixed media inspirations for you using the Dress My Crafts newly launched Stencils and 6x6" dots and stripes paper pack.

I have used the Floral Exotica Paper for the base of my bigger card, Then, I've use the finger print and little check box stencils to create the background of the layouts and layered it eventually using the cardstocks. The pastel shades of the paper makes it very easy to align them for any projects with coordinating embellishments from our stash!

Mixed media Tags Lavender + Gold

Hello Everyone

I hope you are having fun with the numerous inspirational posts from the talented DT team of Dress My Craft. Before we bid adieu to this month , I am back again with my post on how you can make use of the Floral Exotica/ Floral Oriental paper from Dress my Craft. My project features mixed media tags that did not require any pattern paper as the just the Floral exotica was doing all the wonders for me ! It was really easy to use them as a base for literally using any sort of mixed media mediums. Let me show you how they turned out to be

On my recent visit to the Lavender festival in Washington , I instantly knew that what I wanted to do with this month's theme :-) My tags are all lavender inspired but I used a dash of gold in both of the tags. Here is a closer look

The recipe for this tag is quiet simple, I have distressed the edges, applied texture paste with stencils and added lindy's spray. After arranging my picture I have embellished using real lavenders, some leaves that are stamped and heat embossed. And final touches with Finnabair Art ingredients golden glass glitter.

For this tag I started with a plain sheet of Floral Exotica and then added some texture paste to build a circular wall. I then heavily misted it with Lindy's sprays and attached my picture in the center with a double sided foam tape. I have used some flowers and a resin angel to add embellishments to my project. And a final touch of gold with Gilding flakes, Dress my craft sequins and Dress My craft Sparkling dust.

Have you already seen the new launches by Dress my craft that includes a beautiful Hydrangea paper pad and a lot of drool-worthy accessories. Visit the website to look into their vast range of products.

Textures with Floral exotica papers

Hi guys,
Hope you're doing great.
I am back with a new post with two different projects created using DMC floral exotica collection papers. The first one is a shabby chic tag and the second is a vintage layout.

The beautiful background of this tag is created using floral exotica papers with some shimmer sprays and inks. I have attached a few close up pictures of the yummy background below. I've used a resin frame with some mulbery flowers to decorate my tag. The background has a gold shimmer look blended with worn lipstick distress ink.
It is really fun to play with these papers.

I love the way this paper takes inks, smoothly blends and gives such a great result. You must have found some beautiful textures in my previous post as well but this one something really unique to try your hands on.

My second project is a vintage layout created using the same floral exotica papers with some inks giving vintage look.

Hope you liked my projects.
Thanks you!

Hugs,
Meher Shaikh

Hydrangea Lawn Mini Album

Hey Everyone...
How are you gals?
I hope you all are doing great & enjoying and getting inspirations from my talented co-designer's projects.

So today I am here with my second post for July month. This is a review post for newly launched Dress My Craft Hydrangea Lawn paper pad.

Yes!!
This is the very first Paper line by Dress my Craft and I am really excited and loved using these papers. As the name says, Hydrangea is a very popular landscape plant so you will get to see lots of flower prints on the paper. This paper pack has 24 sheets with 12 designs..so it is like 2 sheets of each design. And the paper pack is actually comes in a pad so its so easy to store...you just need to pull out the paper you want to use and that's it. The papers are quite thick and acid & lignin fress so do not worry about the quality.

So over all these papers are perfect for Scrapbooking, Cardmaking, mixed media and etc etc...So let's see what I created with it..and here we go..

I have made a lovely chunky mini album with this paper line and isn't it looking gorgeous! And let me tell you the cardstock I used in this album is none other than DMC Floral papers. Yess!! Yess!!!
This paper is not only for flower making or mixed media...infact you can use them for making your album base. But as a scrapbooker the only tip I will give is that these papers are thick and you may find it difficult for scoring, folding and binding but it is not impossible..All you need is practice and use score tool for folding and to give finishing to edges and you will love the effect.

So without wasting time, lets start the video...
As this is a review video so fasten you seat belt and here we go..

I hope you enjoyed watching it and please don't forget to give your valuable comments. I would love to hear from you all.

Thanks for stopping by and Have a nice day!
