Wishing you all a happy Sunday.

Today is a beautiful day and I try to make the most of it because this is the only day of the week when my family gets to spend a lot of time together. I hope a beautiful day with a beautiful project will make your day more beautiful. So, I'm sharing a pretty project featuring a pretty paper pad called my princess from Dress my craft "Me collection".

This paper pad needs a lot of love and attention. I'm so much in love with this ever since I started working on it. This paper pad is perfect for making scrapbooks and cards for girls (especially 3-16yrs) because the colors and the designs are simple, beautiful and elegant and most importantly they suit on all the different occasions. I have created a scrapbook that holds up to 40 photographs in different styles. Each page is created in the bright and elegant way with multiple flaps and pockets.

If you like the post please dont forget to give a big thumbs up and share it with your friends.

Thank you so much for stopping by!

Much Love

Meher

Photo Album with Minimum Craft Supplies Feat. My Super Hero Paper Collection

 Hello Everyone!

Ruchi here from Ruchi's Crafeteria and I'm back with another project as Brand Ambassador for Dress My Craft.

First, I'm sharing my social media links where you can explore my crafty work.

So let's move to today's post. I've created a Photo Album with minimum crafty supplies using Dress My Craft newly launched MY SUPER HERO paper collection.
When you get an order from your client at last minute or you have to gift something urgently, and don't have enough supplies, then this post would be helpful to you 😊

I've used only the papers of this collection, white cardstock for the base, and fussy cut elements from the ’My Super Hero' Motif Sheets and some basic tools like scoreboard, bone folder and paper trimmer.

It's a kind of zigzag fold album and I've created a band, instead of ribbon/lace, to keep it close. Did nothing much fancy to decorate, just fussy cut super hero images from motif sheets and adhered them to the band. Isn't it super quick and easy thing for closing or binding your albums! :)

That's the backside of the album. Here again, I've glued images from the motif sheets, on the closure band, and some others here n there. This motif sheet comes with sentiments too so you no need to look for a perfect sentiment for your project. They are well designed and picked as par the Super Hero theme :)

When you remove, the band looks like this... 😊

Now you enjoy the inside look of my album and have a look at these gorgeous designs of this paper pack. You can mix n match each n every design perfectly. A perfect paper pack for your kid's theme projects like an album, scrapbook, birthday cards, motivational cards, kids party decors, banners, caps, and all.

I kept that simple as my focus was to create something when you don't have much of your crafty tools in hand nor many crafty goodies.

Just created pockets for my photo mats, with the help of Dress My Craft Scoreboard, and cut all the papers in exact measurements using Dress My Craft Paper Trimmer.

You can find all the supplies list at the end of this post.

Altered Embroidery Hoop with handmade flowers

Hello there,

This is Ujjwal and today I am sharing an altered embroidery hoop that would be perfect to frame a photo and make for an amazing Valentine's Day gift for your loved one.

Before I share the details on the project, I just wanted to share my social media handles so you can connect with me if you'd like to. You can easily find me at,

Blog: Handmade with Love
Facebook: Handmade with Love
Instagram: Handmade with Love
YouTube: Handmade with Love

To start with, I painted the embroidery hoops in a charcoal grey color and then used this pretty paper from the Be Mine 12"X12" Paper Pack for the background.

For the flowers, the first step was to die-cut them using Create a Flower Dies, Floral Oriental Paper and Easy Cuts Die Cutting Machine. I then colored them using Archival inks. I also used the Golf Groove Tools to add details to them and then shaped them with the help of the pointed tweezers.

For the flower centers, I used the Round Styrofoam Buds and covered them with Flower Pearls. I also added Microfine Glitter Powder to the edges of the flowers.

I hope you liked this project.

Magical wand and a pop up card + Tutorial

Hi Creative Peeps

I am in a  festive and merry mood, of course its that time of the year again ! Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas.

This season I had been hooked to making lovely wands and when the Magical Unicorn papers from Dress My Craft arrived, I couldn't help myself but make one !! And instantly thought of using the most gorgeous glitters from DressMyCraft to make the magic come alive.

The unicorn craze has taken me over since long , could I stop at just a wand? ! Of course, not !! So I also have a pop up card to share with you all today. Both the projects have a step by step easy to follow instructions. Just scroll ahead !

This is what we'll be making-

For the wand, here are the measurements that are tried and tested several times :P

I use 2 strips of 3"x12" strips and 2 strips of 1.5"x12" strips in papers of your choice.

Now here I had to admit that the Dress My Craft scoring tool made my life much easier compared to previously owned , especially with this step where I  make score lines that are just .25" wide on the four strips of paper cut above in the first step.

I have folded the paper strips along score lines to make hill and valley fold. And generously sprinkled with sparkling dust and rainbow chunky glitter.

Here I started to arrange the folded strips on a small piece of round chipboard. I have used one strip to cover one half hemisphere of the wand and the second strip to cover lower half hemisphere.

In the next step I have arranged the two smaller strips in the same manner and fitted it to align with the existing folds of large strip.

Magical unicorn die cuts from Dress My Craft , some flowers from stash, feathers, a horn and an ornate chipboard flourish finish off the wand I have a stick covered in washi tape ready to be stuck at the back of wand.

Here is a close up and of course in day light ! Sorry, lighting Seattle is not too good, hence the pictures above ! :P

And voila ! Something magical came up

Are you getting the unicorn vibes already ! Lets hop on to the next project which is a pop up card

For the pop up card , please note down the above measurements and get your pattern paper ready.
Here I have used Floral Oriental cardstock from DressMyCraft for the base.

That's how the box card will come along when stuck at the ends and with patter paper in place.

These are some die cuts and fussy cutting from Magical unicorn paper pad. Note the transparency strips I have cut to stick them to my card.

This is how I have arranged the die cuts with transparencies on the strips of paper placed inside the box card.

And again ! Magic ....!

I hope you enjoyed looking at these today, feel free to ask any questions in the comments below and don't forget to check out the products used along with links from where you can directly buy .
